This International Women’s Day we wanted to do something different.
Instead of sending out another email providing little (to no) content, we choose to appreciate the women who make a difference in the fashion world.
And for us at ALIVE, those are the ones who promote vegan, ethical and sustainable fashion.
Because of that, we’re bringing you our favourite vegan bloggers of 2018!
Bursting with chic outfits packed with sustainable and vegan fashion, vegan bloggers continue to prove that there doesn’t have to be a compromise when it comes to looking great and choosing vegan-friendly brands.
Style with A Smile
After working as an animal rights activist for two years, she decided there was an enormous hole in the market for vegetarian style bloggers, so she launched her own site and now has over 15 thousand followers on Instagram.
Love and Blossoms
This award-winning vegan fashion blogger aims to not only inspire with her stunning outfits but also to set us straight on what is ethical to wear.
With a love of colour we adore Sruti’s bold choices of sunshine yellow and show-stopping pink, proving that when it comes to modern-day vegan fashion, you can create any look you want.
Marta Canga
London-based YouTuber, Marta Canga is well known in the vegan fashion community for her classy outfits and her A+ styling, she is arguably the most stylish vegan bloggers.
She really believes in developing her own style and not just following trends. Her Instagram has over 15 thousand followers as she candidly proclaims that she’s “in a journey to make my closet #sustainable”.
Proving that finding your own style is completely possible within the vegan fashion world, Marta loves a striped basic top, a silk shirt and a print dress that can take you from office to dinner in an instant.
The Green Monki
Creator of The Green Monki Instagram, Chloe is a vegan fashion blogger, “environmentalist and Fashion Revolution Coordinator”.
She is based in Belgium through her ultra-chic Insta grid proves that staying one step ahead of the trends is no big deal when you are vegan.
From the super-hot leopard print trend to baker boy hats, teddy coats and utility jumpsuits, her style is endlessly chic and forever on-trend.
Writing with intelligence, understanding and patience, if you’re interested in learning more about vegan fashion, sustainability or living a more conscious lifestyle, this is a great place to start.
Style Destino
Fashion blogger Shruti Jain of Style Destino advocates staying true to the harmony of style and ethics, rather than being a victim of mindless consumption habits.
Based in Dubai, Shruti is dedicated to more mindful ways of blogging in today’s superabundant influencer culture.
She shares her ambition to bring Dubai onto the map of ethical blogging, starting with her own followers (she now has over 13 thousand on Instagram!).
From wide-leg jeans to chic satin palazzo pants, this vegan blogger’s style is in no danger of looking off-trend.
The Haute Vegan
Meet Jessica Lynn Sattelberger. On the topic of veganism, it’s still relatively new in her life.
She went vegan about two years ago starting with her diet and it’s been very recent that she has embraced the entire lifestyle, making it clear to her Instagram followers, “All things vegan. If that’s not your jam, you’re gonna hate this.”
Karissa Sparke
Karissa Sparke runs an Australian style/wellbeing/lifestyle/travel website called Tom Girl & Threads.
She is technically an occupational therapist and a yoga teacher and through her website, she shares her (not so) tomboyish style, focusing more and more on ethical and sustainable fashion.
Living in an imperfect world, she focuses on chasing progress instead of perfection and inviting others to do the same.
For her, living gently is all about making those small choices day to day that contribute to a greater good, being conscious in her choices and her impact on the world.
Although she posts a great swimsuit pic, she’s far from a beach bum, creating stunning imagery and showing off her love of girly boho separates and flirty summer dresses, eternally styled with layers of ultra-delicate chains and earrings.
From faux leather accessories to sustainably made basics and everything in between, when it comes to vegan fashion now, these bloggers prove, it’s the only way to go as we continue into 2019.
