In sometime around 2015, ALIVE Boutique’s founder, was browsing around the web to find a new pair of vegan trainers.
Since he has been living a vegan lifestyle for a while, he wanted not only to eat things that are good for animals and the planet, he also wanted to wear shoes without any products that could harm animals, people and our environment.
He quickly realised that finding great looking, and vegan shoes can be quite a tedious task, something that many people can relate to.
There were already quite a few vegan brands out there creating beautiful, vegan shoes. Moreover, there were some non-vegan brands that did have a cruelty-free range or at least one or two pairs in their selection that fulfilled all his vegan criteria.
However, it seemed that they were fairly scattered around the internet. So, for every online shop, he had to find out what the shipping policy was, how long it would take for his new vegan shoes to actually arrive at his doorstep, what the returns policy was… you name it.
So naturally, he asked himself one question:
“Why isn’t there an online retailer that specialises in combining all the great vegan shoes that are also ethical and made from sustainable materials?
Why isn’t there an online shop for vegan shoes where we have the same experience as we do in a vegan restaurant: order any item, without thinking twice about whether it’s vegan or not?”
So, since he lived in the year 2016 (quite some time had passed, and he had thought about this A LOT) and anything seems possible these days, the founder of Alive Boutique Ltd decided to leave his job and start an online retailer for vegan shoes and ethical fashion.
As of December 2016, www.alive.boutique was born and launched just in time for that Christmas sales.
Initially, the idea was to create an online shop that offered the absolute best selection of vegan shoes in terms of brands, styles, colours, and sizes.
In addition to just having a large selection, it became clear very soon how much ALIVE’s customers appreciated customer service.
By shipping beautiful vegan shoes not only quickly to their customers, but also by showing a personal touch in day to day communication with their tribe, ALIVE has been able to generate a loyal following and tons of positive reviews.
